Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Makes 8 cookies:

In a bowl, beat together until creamy:

Once the butter and sugar mixture is creamy, slowly incorporate one egg. Mix slowly until the mixture is smooth, without over beating.

Add to the mixture:

Mix all the ingredients together until the mixture is crumbly.


By hand, press the mixture together until it forms a dough.

Shape the dough into balls of roughly 60 to 70 grams per cookie.

Place the balls on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.

Place a square of milk chocolate on top of the cookie dough ball, pressing it until it sinks in.


Bake at 180℃ (gas mark 6) for 10 minutes, until slightly brown. Take the tray out of the oven and leave the cookies to cool on the tray for at least 30 minutes before removing them.
